This is the Lords burning passion for everything He does, and especially for His children.

Definition of worship

Worship is just pouring your heart out to Jesus. Even if you're just banging on some pots and pans, dancing, writing, doodling, praying, if it's from your heart to the Lord, it's worship. :)

God is close to the broken

God is close to those who are broken. Really, He is. When we're broken is when we feel most alone, but He's always with us, and I know that when I, personally, am in that place of brokenness, I always start out feeling alone and He always ends up finding a way to show me that I'm not!

Spiritual gifts

Spiritual gifts are kind of like this egg. Imagine it as God giving someone a spiritual gift. When it starts to manifest or "hatch", His glory shines through brighter and brighter!

We need burning hearts, on fire for God!

Our hearts need to be on fire for God! In all things, seek after Him! Dedicate all you do to the Lord and ignore all distractions! Keep your eyes on Him and plow through anything trying to get between you and Jesus, and He will bring you through it.

Lord, pour your glory down!

 Lord, I pray that you open portals of Heaven all over the world and pour your glory down!

Wait on the Lord

One thing that I think all Christians struggle with is waiting on God. Yes, it's true that we need to step out in faith, but we also need to be sure, or at least have an idea, of what He wants us to do! Even if everything else seems to be rushing past, we need to be still and wait for Him.

JESUS IS OUR LIGHT!

NO MATTER HOW MUCH DARKNESS SURROUNDS YOU, GOD CAN BREAK THROUGH AND BRING YOU LIGHT!

Go to the secret place!

What the Lord has also revealed to me is that He is always watching over us, pouring His love into us and into our lives, even if we do hold Him at a distance! But look how far away He is in this picture! (Look at the top right corner. He is part of the clouds.)

 We have to go to the secret place! We have to let Him into our hearts, and we need to go to that still, quiet place where it's just us and God. Then, He will be right there. It's easier to have a close and personal relationship with the Lord when we let Him get close.

LET THE LORD GET CLOSE TO YOUR HEART!

 Art can tell a story sometimes, if you take the time to figure that out. Jesus wants to set us free from the chains holding us down, but sometimes we're holding Him at a distance. In this picture, the gate is the space we've put between us and the Lord, who has the key to setting us free. We're chained down and surrounded by darkness but still we refuse to let Him in! Meanwhile, He's waiting on the other side, ready to rush in and rip the chains off of us so that we can be free.

When we finally decide to let Him in, He will break our chains, and our hearts can burn for Christ more than ever before! Look! The chains are broken and the light is shining through!
